This summer, Uber is transforming travel on Italy’s Amalfi Coast with private helicopters, luxury boats, and seamless ground transport—all bookable with a tap
The sun-drenched cliffs, cerulean waters, and citrus-scented breezes of the Amalfi Coast just became even more luxurious. This summer, Uber is rewriting the rules of Mediterranean escapism — not by car, but by sea and sky.
In an ambitious step into luxury tourism, Uber has unveiled a suite of premium travel options designed for the jet-setter in all of us. Starting June 25, the iconic ride-hailing app will offer helicopter rides and boat cruises that can be booked directly through your phone, turning dreamlike Amalfi adventures into on-demand realities.

The crown jewel of the offering? Uber Copter, a private helicopter service whisking travellers from Sorrento to Capri in dual-pilot, dual-engine style. With panoramic views of limestone cliffs and the glittering Tyrrhenian Sea, passengers can arrive on the island like celebrities — no ferry queues required.
But the indulgence doesn’t stop in the air. Uber Boat is setting sail with elegant Gozzo 35 vessels, complete with personal skippers, snacks, and chilled drinks. It’s a floating lounge for up to 12 people, gliding past Positano’s pastel buildings and hidden coves in true Italian fashion.

Meanwhile, for those seeking a more grounded experience (but still with a touch of flair), Uber Reserve expands across the coast, offering pre-scheduled rides timed perfectly with airport arrivals, sunset dinners, or coastal day trips.
As international flights land at the newly opened Salerno Airport, Uber is clearly betting big on the Amalfi’s rising star. With over 400,000 international users already embracing Uber across Italy, this is more than a travel upgrade — it’s a curated lifestyle shift.
Because on the Amalfi Coast, getting there should be just as breathtaking as the destination.
