The new beauty hotspot has married design elegance with Dubai luxury and Thai prowess
Upon walking into La Beauté salon, the Nordic-style surroundings immediately capture an ambience of relaxation combined with French glamour. The muted creams and beiges are accentuated by pops of dark blue and burnt orange, complemented with Chanel and Dior coffee table books, beautiful white hydrangeas, and statement décor pieces.
Situated in the heart of JLT overlooking scenic, panoramic water vistas, the salon has roots dating back over three decades in Thailand. The concept prides itself on upscale hospitality and Thai expertise, bringing an array of services from hair and nails to skincare, lashes and more.
“We have a certified academy in Thailand, we train our own staff and send them here,” explains Pimlada Lamsintron, owner of La Beauté. “We are providing a wide range of services from head to toe, from the moment you step inside the salon.”
I’m first met with a 30-minute head, shoulders and neck massage, followed by a blow-dry and mani-pedi. The attention to detail is evident in each step, and the warmth of the staff completes the experience.
“Our concept is we want everyone that comes here to feel peaceful, listening to jazz music while we pamper them with full relaxation. La Beauté’s way of providing services is different from any other typical salon. We put more details into all our sequences of service.”
The arched mirrors, soft colour palette and golden lighting reflect the signature ethos of the brand; to indulge and pamper in a space that cultivates relaxed beauty – a space where, as the neon sign at the entrance fittingly reads, ‘She Glows’.
“The design is inspired by a minimalistic aesthetic that looks warm and welcoming, to create a sense of freedom and relaxation for the customers,” continues Pimlada. “The smooth and strong interiors with clean lines create bold statements that emphasise the essential nature of the space, adding a sense of warmth and comfort while maintaining a minimalistic, soft style.”
