The French fashion house has unveiled its new twin boutique at the Mall of the Emirates in Dubai
The luxury maison now reaffirms its presence with interconnected yet adjacent spaces dedicated to both CHANEL’s latest creations by Artistic Director, Virginie Viard – from ready-to-wear, handbags, shoes, small leather goods, eyewear, costume jewellery and other accessories to watches and fine jewellery collections.
Spanning 11,990 square feet, the new Dubai boutique in the Mall of the Emirates offers guests a rare, immersive experience of CHANEL’s creative universes, bringing together what were once separate, standalone boutiques into a single shopping destination.
Designed by New York-based architect Peter Marino, who has seamlessly reinterpreted the maison’s aesthetic codes all over the world, this new space transposes CHANEL’s Parisian elegance and timeless modernity into a setting furnished with sumptuous bespoke touches including bespoke tweed upholstery in sophisticated shades of ivory and sand, and plush wool hand-tufted carpeting.
The luxury space is also home to specially commissioned works by artists Gregor Hildebrandt and Robert Greene; a testament to the brand’s longstanding dedication to the arts which sprung during Mademoiselle Chanel’s time.
Two elegant accessories salons welcome visitors with an array of iconic and seasonal handbags presented in niches alongside an assortment of eyewear, small leather goods, and other accessories.
Sleek glass and metal consoles define a spacious salon with a subtle Art-Deco feel and a graphic black and white palette warmed by pops of antique gold.
An adjoining salon is available for private appointments and beautifully encapsulates the spirit of Mademoiselle Chanel’s Parisian apartment at 31 rue Cambon, complete with hand-finished surface treatments, a Louis XV-style antique fireplace, as well as the rock crystals and lion sculptures she prized.
Reflecting the house’s rich history and timeless design codes, this elegant twin boutique is an extension of CHANEL’s endless creativity and unparalleled world.
