Bulgari’s fifth property, located in Dubai, has expectedly become a hospitality icon a few years on from welcoming guests
As with all the Bulgari Hotels & Resorts, Bulgari Resort Dubai has been designed by famed Italian architectural firm, Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel.
Both the regal interiors and exterior have been crafted with the same level of detail and precision of a Bulgari jewel; pairing rare, raw materials with colour, texture and feel to sculpt them into objects of enduring, artistic beauty.

“Hotels represent for Bulgari the opportunity to bring the Italian luxury experience, design and creativity around the world and from now on the brand is proud to count on a new ‘home’ such as Dubai,” said Bulgari’s CEO, Jean-Christophe Babin, during the opening of the resort in 2017.

“The journey to the opening of a resort of this scale, is always a long and much anticipated one,” says Pep Lozano, General Manager. “We couldn’t be happier with how spectacular this resort has become. It is something very unique for guests to come to an island within the heart of a city, where we will be the only resort. It is like a private island yet minutes from some of the city’s most famous attractions.”
Styled with illuminated gardens and pools that resemble a traditional seaside Italian village, the fashionable resort blends Mediterranean landscaping with the natural surroundings of the shores of the Arabian Gulf.

“Dubai is one of the most sought-after destinations in the world and to be able to offer an experience as unique as this in a market with some very impressive offerings, is something we are very excited about,” adds Lozano.

Developed in collaboration with Meraas, the hotel is the only one located on the magical titanic seahorse-shaped island of Jumeira Bay, a dreamy destination for travellers seeking the solitude of an island escape yet situated just minutes from the heart of Dubai and its cultural attractions.
The brand’s next opening will be in the eternal city of Rome – the new Bulgari Hotel Roma which is set to open 9 June 2023 – bringing the artistry and elegance of the Roman jeweller to its hometown.
